It's one of my favorite of Bill's songs. Your version is less dark, but you did a really good job! It has an entirely different feel...you did make this version entirely your own!
Still...I would have liked to hear your take on a Murmuur tune...

You have the most unique vocal quality. It brings the right touch of sadness or maybe winsomeness (is that how that's spelled? ) to this. Very nice!

WM, I could listen to you sing all day. I honestly believe you could do a cover of "99 bottles of beer on the wall" and make it sound fascinating, exotic, and emotional. Here, of course, you had some great material to start with.

the original was crazy, hard, absolutely incredible, your version was slow, eclectic, and absolutely incredible...
your voice is great, and i agree with moam, when you get louder and sing higher, it sounds great.

You are really a wonderful musician. This is a completely different feel than the original, but is fantastic on its own.

Your voice is absolutely magical accompanied with that acoustic guitar.
I might be able to actually listen to metal if it all sounded like this.

This was just Great
sometimes you dont need more then a guitar and a beatiful voice. This could end up getting my vote, but theres still some songs to be heard. Great work!

okay, I know I've listened to this several times now, how have I not commented? lol..
To start with, I just love this. I loved Bill's original as well, but there's always a spot in my heart for acoustic guitar+vocal tracks... you sound a lot like Ani Difranco in this.. minus the lesbian rage. and, as always, I'm more and more impressed with your voice each time I stop by your page...

You know how cars have this sort of hum when they reach a certain speed? That's kind of how your voice is when you reach this certain pitch and volume, kind of a sweet spot .....and you reach this at around the 1 minute mark and then later on, maybe the 2:45 point?
Anyway, enjoyed this, so completely left field of the original.

You are one of my favourite female vocalist, and this is a beautiful example of why that is. It love how this is just you and guitar, but but because your playing and singing are so rich it doesn't sound sparse for a moment. Excellent job, Lucy
